Andrea and her friends started the Friends of the Heights Library to get more books on its shelves. Seven years later, their advocacy work resulted in the completion of a $1.2M renovation to the Heights Library. After moving to Journal Square, Andrea founded the Bergen Square Historical Society to promote Bergen’s unique place in NJ’s history. For her advocacy work, Andrea received Jersey City’s Woman of Action Award and the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy’s ‘Theodore Conrad Preservation Award’. She really loves Jersey City and it shows!
Andrea has lived in Jersey City 27 years and is the proud mother of one, a McNair Academic High School graduate. She’s engaged to be married in the fall of 2019.
Special Accomplishments: Andrea listed and sold the highest priced two-family home in Bergen Lafayette in 2018.
